LAST CALL FOR UP THE BAY CRUISE MAY 10 - ??

We have several boats leaving Thursday May 10  and we plan to be in Solomons Thursday night and further up the bay the next night.  From there the Millars we can choose what we want to do.  One boat is coming up a day or two later and will be in the Choptank area for the week.  Note: this is Mother's Day weekend!  Bring your Mom along if you want.

If you have any interest in going along, please contact Bob Swann, choirman1945@yahoo.com, by Wednesday, 5/9 @ 6 PM.  As long as I know you are planning to come, I will be listening for you by cell (804-580-1158) or VHF Ch 72 but reception could be problematical.

CALL FOR CRUISERS FOR MAY 18-27

Let Bob Swann know if you are interested in cruising this time period -- This cruise ends on Memorial Day weekend.

June Plans

We have a number of boats interested in sailing down to the Rappahannock mouth area on June 12 to lie in wait for the Tall Ships of OpSail 2012.  We will follow (or lead) them back up the bay as far as Smith Point (more or less) before finding refuge for the night.  If you are really inspired, a night cruise up the bay in company with the ships might be a challenge.  They are heading for Baltimore non-stop.

The Friday night concerts at St. Mary's College start on June 15.  If you are interested in going to the first one, cruising for the next week and being back for concert #2 the next week - a Concert Sandwich Cruise, contact Bob Swann.
